Running a little late on blogging once again this weekend, but my mind has just been in overdrive reeling over finding out I’m going to be an AUNT! I just can’t seem to wrap my head around the reality even though that’s all that seems to be consuming my thoughts. I’ve never really been this close to someone pregnant, at least not at this age. When my step-mom was pregnant with Sarah, I was only 10 years old. Now I find this so much more fascinating and exciting. I find myself being overprotective and extra careful. It’s just amazing that this little precious baby has been created and has been growing right underneath our very noses and now I want to make up for lost time. It’s just such a beautiful thing. I want this kid to have as much love possible and a happy life. I feel myself already wrapped around his/her little fingers like I will go to bat for him/her and fight for them without even a single thought.
Other than that, this weekend has been very relaxing. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous. Fall is coming and I can already feel it, smell it, and sense it. I’m so excited. I love this time of year so much! My Mom cut my hair yesterday. It’s about shoulder length. I love it. It makes me feel more vivacious or something, I don’t know. I’m going to dye it as soon as I can find the particular dye I’m looking for. Hopefully a dark auburn-ish color. I’m feeling a little fiesty and I want a more vibrant flirty color. :> Maybe after trying out a less noticeable red color, I might go a little more bold and see how that suits me. I’m just tired of hiding behind brown and black. I want to stand out a bit more!
I still have lots to get done! I’m steadily plugging through my To-Do list, but I fell a bit behind this weekend because I just wanted to relax and play some World of Warcraft. Trying to get my Hunter to 80 before the expansion. She’s 77 now. :3 Brewfest starts tomorrow and I’m kinda excited! Hoping I can be as lucky as I was last year and get that Swift Brewfest Ram. Last year I got 2 kodos and 1 ram. Gave 1 kodo and 1 ram away and kept 1 kodo for myself, so now I just need that Ram!
Tomorrow will be a busy one, especially since I procrastinated all weekend. I need to make up a bracelet for a custom order that was placed on Friday, first and foremost. Plus I need to clean house, bake banana nut muffins, make pork chops for dinner as well as prepare and get dinner ready to go in the slow-cooker for Tuesday. Lots of food to make! I’m going to try out a Weight Watchers recipe I got from this magazine/book I bought. A slow-cooker pot roast. Yummy! It sounds promising! It will be a miracle if I get all of that accomplished.
This is a really hard question for me. I love so much music and it’s nearly impossible for me to choose. I think this time I’m going to go with a composer. Hans Zimmer. He just always delivers and I feel like anytime he composes a score for a movie, you just know the movie is going to be amazing. Some of my favorite movies of all time are movies that he composed the score for. Talented man. Musical genius. Here’s one of my favorites, “Time” from the movie Inception.
