I’ve been trying to blog for the past three or four days but have been desperately trying to get other things done and then run out of time! I think the 30 Day Meme Challenge I’m going to start this week will hopefully help towards that goal. We’ll see!
Anyway, it’s been a pretty crazy week/weekend. Hurricane Earl turned out to be a total bust. Apparently he was scared of the Big Bad East Coast. As usual, the news hyped it all up and I swear we’ve had Nor’easter Storms that have done more damage. Fortunately, it also made the latter half of the work week really relaxing. We even left early on Thursday and Friday as a result of how slow business was. I suppose everyone was busy preparing for the storm we didn’t have. So on Friday I went with Keight and Sarah to Claire’s so Keight could get her third hole in her ear re-pierced and then we went with the family to Nara of Japan for some delicious Japanese food. Our hibachi chef was amazing too. We’ve been wavering on going back to Nara since they’ve changed so much, but this guy sold us on coming back in the future! I hope he sticks around!
Saturday was mostly a chill out day. I got some things done that I needed to, but still haven’t completely finished my everlasting To-Do List. Ended the evening with a short boat ride at my Dad’s house and then came home and watched Clash of the Titans, which was pretty enjoyable. Not the best movie ever but not a waste of time either. Never saw the original though and I know a lot of people seem to think that one is better.
Today I helped Mom get a few things done around the house and then went on another Boat Ride. The weather has just been absolutely perfect. It gets me all excited for Fall. My absolute favorite season. I don’t know, but something about the prospect of Fall just makes me feel like new and exciting things are bound to happen. I love it!
I know they say time flies when you’re having fun.. but time just flies in general. This weekend was POOF! Gone in a flash. I only have one more day to finish getting everything done I had planned! We’ll see how that goes! Hope you all are having a more productive or at least a very exciting Labor Day weekend!
